Axcis Education are seeking a Teacher who is interested in transferring their skills to SEND education. We are the only education recruitment agency that specialise in Special Educational Needs. We work with many SEND schools in and around Exeter as well as mainstream schools with a high level of SEND pupils. Axcis currently have a KS4 SEND Teacher position to start this term continuing through to September. This is for you and the children to transition before the start of the academic year. This may lead to a permanent post. If you are a creative teacher and want to adapt your lessons rather than following a strict curriculum this may be the right role for you. Creative teachers thrive in SEND education as it lends itself well to those who are vulnerable and learn more kinaesthetically and visually. Most importantly as a Teacher you will see your hard work reach huge progress in the young people’s development and independence. You will be supporting children with anxiety, trauma and autism which will give huge rewards and satisfaction in your work. The school are interested in both primary and secondary teacher as all classes is static, meaning you will teach all core subjects at a lower ability. The children will move class for P.E, cooking and weekly school trips. You will be the main teacher for the class and a class tutor.
