Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality mathematics lessons to secondary school students, ensuring that all learners are challenged and supported.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and achieve their full potential.
3. Prepare and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous progress.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
5. Participate in extra-curricular activities, including mathematics clubs, competitions, and other school events.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. A qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. Passionate about mathematics with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
4. A strong commitment to professional development and a desire to continue growing as an educator.
5. Experience teaching at secondary school level is desirable, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
