Speech and Drama/LAMDA Teacher (Prep school) Self Employed One day’s work/two half days ________________________________________ We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Speech and Drama/LAMDA Teacher to inspire our students to grow their confidence and their performance skills. The candidate would be joining a growing Drama department, alongside an experienced Senior School Speech and Drama Teacher who also serves as the LAMDA coordinator. Currently, around 10 pupils in the prep school are studying Speech and Drama, with potential for growth. Pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 are taking part in the program, and there is flexibility in the workload, typically requiring one full day or two half days, with the opportunity for expansion. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare students for LAMDA exams and encourage participation in drama festivals. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for their own invoicing and timetable management, working closely with the school's LAMDA coordinator. While experience with the LAMDA syllabus is desirable, it is not essential, as training will be available. Applicants from both teaching and theatrical backgrounds are welcome to apply.
