Thornden Hall is seeking a Senior Technician to oversee the technical operations of our vibrant theatre. You'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless delivery of internal and external events while leading a team of talented technicians. From lighting and sound design to stage management and customer liaison, your expertise will shape unforgettable experiences for our audience and performers alike.
About the role:
* Designing, rigging, and operating lighting and sound for productions
* Managing technical requirements for events, including liaison with hirers
* Building and maintaining props, sets, and theatre equipment
* Overseeing staff rotas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
* Promoting health and safety and keeping up with industry regulations
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in the industry
* Expertise in Yamaha Digital Mixers, Radio Microphone systems, and ETC Ion Consoles
* Leadership skills, with proven experience managing a team
* A creative, organised, and proactive professional who remains calm under pressure
* A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to relate well to students
