Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: Negotiable DOE

Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
* Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of company products and services to effectively communicate their benefits and applications to customers.
* Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, assisting clients with product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
* Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with client needs and market trends.
* Demonstrations & Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and functionality of companies offerings.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
* Proposal Development: Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and contracts that meet client specifications and align with company objectives.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to provide customer feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. An HNC or equivalent qualification is preferred.
* Experience: Proven experience in a technical sales role.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical concepts related to NDT (non destructive testing) with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing customer challenges effectively.
* Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to sales.
* NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) experience is a plus.
