What Does The Role Entail? To support the Engineering manager in the planning and delivery of a site expansion project through the addition of a new line and ensure budget management, reporting management of resources and working with cross functional teams. This role is ideal for a graduate looking to develop their engineering skills in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. This role is envisaged for a fixed term period of 12-18 months. What Will My Key Responsibilities Be? Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects related to the production, bottling, and packaging processes. Design & Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems in the bottling lines. Problem-Solving: Analyse issues, identify root causes, and work with senior engineers to implement solutions to optimize operational efficiency. Process Optimisation: Collaborate with the production team to identify bottlenecks and improve workflows, reducing downtime and increasing throughput. Technical Documentation: Help create and maintain accurate project documentation, including engineering reports, schematics, and user manuals. Supplier & Vendor Management: Assist with sourcing parts and managing suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components for projects. Compliance and Health & Safety: Ensure all engineering projects meet health, safety, and regulatory standards. Support the team in maintaining compliance with industry best practices. Testing & Commissioning: Assist with the commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems to ensure they operate as designed and meet the required specifications. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement in the bottling processes, identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
