MEICA Project Manager (301jc) – Kilmarnock - £50 -55k + Car + Benefits
Our client specialises in installing all types of mechanical plants for the Water industry across the UK. They offer services including water & wastewater treatment, including design, fabrication, site installation and testing.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Project Manager, who will be part of the Project Delivery team will be responsible for delivering of a number of projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Therefore your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage and coordinate MEICA projects from initiation to completion.
* Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
* Ensure resource availability and allocation.
* Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
* Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
* Report and escalate to management as needed.
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
* Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
To be eligible for this role you will need the following skills and experience:
* Proven working experience as a project manager in the water sector, specifically in MEICA.
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
* Knowledge of NEC contacts
* Relevant H&S Regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
* Relevant Engineering Experience: You should have a solid background in engineering, preferably in the water sector.
* Recognised Practical Qualifications or Relevant Training: You should have recognised qualifications or training in relevant fields, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation, control, and automation.
* Water Industry Experience: Experience in the water industry is crucial for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of this sector.
* Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Components and Equipment: A deep understanding of mechanical and electrical components and equipment is essential for this role.
* Maturity and Practicality: You should be able to make sound decisions based on practical considerations and have the maturity to handle complex situations.
* Good Health and Level of General Fitness: The role may require some physical activities, so a good level of general fitness is beneficial.
* A Full Clean Car Driving License: As the role may require travel, a full clean driving license is necessary

Hours of Work are currently 40.5 Hrs per week, Mon to Thur 0800 to 1700 and Fri early finish at 1500hrs
