Hours: 37 hours 0730-1530 Monday to Thursday and 0730-1500 Friday
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £27,704 + £619 Fringe Allowance per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.

The Desmond Anderson Primary Academy is looking to recruit a skilled, motivated and committed Personal Assistant (PA) and Office Supervisor to provide high-level administrative support to the Principal and other members of the academy's Senior Leadership Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or PA who is looking for a new challenge.
Duties will include:
1. Provide a complete, effective and professional administrative support service to the Principal and other members of the academy’s Senior Leadership Team.
2. Undertake and co-ordinate the administrative functions of the academy to ensure that the academy is efficiently and effectively run, proactively collaborating with the Trust’s professional service departments.
3. Responsible for the administration of the academy’s nursery / extended school provision / lettings.
4. Support the Senior Leadership Team with managing and monitoring pupil attendance to achieve agreed annual targets and adhere to statutory and legal requirements.
5. Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for the academy.
We are looking for someone who has:
1. Previous administrative experience, ideally with experience of working as a PA.
2. Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to work under strict time constraints.
3. Strong problem-solving skills with evidence of working analytically whilst under pressure.
4. Excellent interpersonal, team and networking skills and the ability to form effective working relationships across the Academy.
5. Pride in their work; a high level of accuracy with enhanced attention to detail.
6. The ability to work in a discreet and sensitive manner demonstrating sensitivity.
7. Possess tact and an extreme sense of confidentiality.
