Who we are: Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey. We design, build and maintain the UK’s utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better. We are proud to work in partnership with our clients, including Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power.
The Role: We are expanding our planning team and recruiting for a Senior Planner to support our Severn Trent Water account. You will be a key member of the project team and support the team in the successful planning and control of project delivery. You will also be expected to support the overall requirements of the business planning function. This is a full-time permanent role based from our offices in Birmingham, Shifnal and will also involve some working from home.
Responsibilities:
* Derive and communicate contractual integrated baseline programmes and forecasts
* Produce weekly/monthly updated programmes, progress reports and revised forecasts
* Incorporate change events into programme to help secure full entitlement under the contract
* Communicate to all major stakeholders through presentations
* Provide a means of indicating deviation from the baseline programme
Skills & Experience:
* 5 years plus Primavera P6 expertise
* Good experience of NEC3/NEC4 form of contract
* Experience of creating and managing resource loaded programmes
* Experience of working on utility/Major Project
* Expertise in the analysis and integrity checking of programmes
* Good understanding of events that initiate, and methods used to demonstrate delay or change
* A degree, HND in civil engineering or other engineering discipline
* Professional membership
