Lyward Colley was established by founder, Keith Colley who has a passion for those young people who, for a variety of reasons find themselves outside of mainstream education and on the peripheries of society. At the core of Lyward Colley is a lived experience by our founder, having been excluded from a number of mainstream Schools himself and spent the majority of his education in the Alternative provision Sector. Keith's vision and methods are well rooted in these personal experiences which enables Lyward Colley to firmly put each individual child's needs at the very centre of our focus and gives us a clear determination to improve the outcomes and prospects of our young people.
Lyward Colley is a re invention of Keith's first project, Monkey Workshops which he set up during the Covid Pandemic in 2022, receiving awards for services to the community during that time. Lyward Colley holds those same values as that first venture and aims with the support of a fantastic board of Directors to continue that work with the young people of Suffolk.
