JR-292, April 2025 Organisation Development Head of Human Resources PO10 SCP 51-54 (£61,858 - £65,344) subject to Job Evaluation Review Plus 19% employer pension contribution 1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week Location : The post will be based at Antrim Civic Centre and required to work between Mossley Mill and Antrim Civic Centre This is an office-based position and remote working is unavailable MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To act as the professional Head of Service and the strategic advisor of the Council on all Human Resource matters, acting as the lead officer on matters relating to employee attendance, employee relations, employee resourcing, employee analytics and safeguarding. In the context of the Council's Corporate Plan, provide dynamic, effective and innovative leadership by: a) Developing and delivering the strategy for the Service area b) Advising the Director, Chief Executive and Corporate Leadership Team on strategies and policy matters relating to the post holder's remit. c) Successful leadership, management and delivery of service responsibilities in support of the Corporate Strategic objectives, section business plans and values. d) Playing an active role in corporate organisational development. e) Ensure the service takes a leading role in the development of inter- departmental plans for corporate themes and that it contributes fully to achieving corporate objectives. f) Identifying and analysing trends and opportunities relating to the post holder's responsibilities and to deliver successful change to ensure continuous improvement.
