We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team. Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for young children
* Assist with small group and one-to-one support for children to help them develop their social, emotional, and academic skills
* Help create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independent thinking
* Support children in developing their language, literacy, numeracy, and social skills through play and structured activities
* Assist with the supervision of children during meals, breaks, and outdoor activities
* Observe and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional and social development
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Has experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting
* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field (or equivalent)
* Demonstrates a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
* Is patient, caring, and approachable, with the ability to create a warm and nurturing atmosphere
* Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
* Is organised, reliable, and flexible in supporting the needs of the children and the team as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
