The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in automation engineering, proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems, and a hands-on, problem-solving approach. Responsibilities for the Automation Engineer Role: Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve automation and control system issues, ensuring seamless operation. Design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems to optimize manufacturing and operational processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to create integrated solutions that support organizational goals. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of automation systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, implementing protocols for system safety and reliability. Stay ahead of industry advancements, researching and applying new technologies and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities. Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality equipment and services. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and user manuals. Requirements for the Automation Engineer role: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 4 years of proven experience in automation engineering or a similar role. Demonstrated experience leading automation projects from design to implementation. Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development. In-depth understanding of industrial control systems, including sensors, actuators, and communication networks. Proficiency in CAD software and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for system modeling and development. A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
