Purpose & Scope The Conduit and Climate House have entered an exciting new partnership to help fuel their mutual next phase of growth, growing Climate House’s programming and events capabilities while expanding The Conduit’s global footprint. This is an exciting opportunity to support the strategic growth of both organisations. This role will be a 1-year contract role based at Climate House in Paris (39 Rue du Caire, 75002 Paris, France) and report into both The Conduit and Climate House. The Programming Manager should have the ability to travel between Paris and the UK freely, and expect to join the team in the UK at least once a quarter. The Programming Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our Impact Programme events, which aim to inspire and engage members in addressing global challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating and implementing Climate House’s programming strategy and supporting on day-to-day execution of events with 360 management of logistics, content, and delivering high-quality events that align with Climate House’s mission. The Programming Manager will receive strategic guidance and support from The Conduit’s Global programming team, capitalizing on The Conduit’s existing network and strategy while boosting Climate House’s profile. Responsibilities & Key Duties Programme Strategy & Coordination · With the support of The Conduit’s global head of programming, develop and execute the strategy, design and implementation of a unique programme of in-person events that foster tangible and measurable impact for Climate House · Provide coordination administrative support for the seamless execution of the Impact Programme. · Research and source relevant speakers and content for upcoming events. · Serve as a lead contact for event-day operations, ensuring smooth running from start to finish. Administrative & Technical Support · Develop, maintain, and regularly update internal calendars and platforms to create systems that ensure company-wide alignment on program initiatives. · Liaise with internal departments to coordinate venue space and tech support · Create and manage posts for the Climate House website and CMS forms · Create and maintain a comprehensive speaker and moderator database, ensuring it is regularly updated and accurate. · Identify, select and manage the necessary suppliers (catering, techniciens etc), negociate contracts respecting the defined budgets and track performance of suppliers to guarantee high quality of delivery · Prepare guest lists, manage check-ins, and welcoming key participants. Relationship Management & Reporting · Build and maintain strong relationships with speakers, moderators, members, and collaborators. · Track event attendance, update guest lists, and ensure accurate reporting. · Collect and organise feedback for programme improvement and annual reports. Skills & Experience · Candidate must be Bi-lingual in French and English · Excellent communication and writing skills. · Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and time management. · Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including social media. · Experience in public programming, event curation, and/or production · Design, photography, and video editing skills are a plus. · Comfortable with public speaking and presentation.
