Ward 43 is looking to recruit an experienced band 5 registered nurse. Ward 43 is a busy, fast-paced 23 bedded general medical/endocrine ward.
The ideal candidate will possess a range of clinical skills such as IV additives, venepuncture and cannulation, care and maintenance of central venous access devices, and syringe drivers. Previous experience of managing an acutely unwell patient as well as sliding scales would also be preferred. The candidate must be able to work 12.5 hour shifts across dayshift, nightshift, and public holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team and to gain a wide range of experience and knowledge.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
