SRM Recruitment is delighted to assist a long-standing international, corporate client of ours in the real estate sector with the recruitment of an FP&A Analyst for their UK head office team.
This role is targeted, ideally, at an ACA/CA looking to make a first move into industry and ideally coming from the Transaction Services (or equivalent) space as our client is seeking a candidate already comfortable with the modelling of large data sets.
Role Overview
The role will be responsible for Property Cost reporting, business partnering, and analytics across the portfolio. They will be the first point of contact for in-country divisional leaders in relation to understanding property costs and will drive cost performance improvements across the business. Given the high volume of transactions with a significant number of assets globally, the candidate must have experience working with large data sets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for country divisional heads in relation to understanding property costs
* Partner with country managers to drive cost performance improvements
* Analyse and report on property costs using tools such as Power Query and Power Pivot
* Implement and support self-service performance reporting across markets with Power BI
* Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards in Power BI
* Support the preparation of operational reports and presentations for senior management
* Participate in yearly budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting processes
* Interrogate large data sets to identify trends and generate insights
* Share business insights with relevant stakeholders to support data-driven decision making
* Implement best practices in data management and suggest process improvements
Our client is seeking a recently qualified ACA/CA looking to make a first move into industry, ideally from a larger practice firm. They will consider qualified ACCA or CIMA with proven experience around modelling and managing of large data sets.
Additionally:
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis tools
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
* Ability to think creatively and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
* Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and create own processes
* Experience in real estate is desirable but not essential
Salary circa £60,000 plus excellent bonus + benefits
