Lead People Partner - About The Role Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that align with the business’s objectives, fostering growth in a dynamic environment. Lead and mentor a small, agile HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services across the business. Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development, leveraging your technical and startup experience. Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top engineering talent, focusing on building a strong, diverse team in a fast-moving environment. Spearhead initiatives aimed at employee engagement, retention, and development, adapting strategies for a growing company. Cultivate and champion a positive, inclusive culture where innovation thrives, and employees are empowered. Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, providing hands-on support to line managers. Support workforce planning, succession planning, and career development programs to meet both immediate and long-term business needs. Stay up to date with employment law and best practices, ensuring compliance across all areas. Travel to various locations to support teams, attend site meetings, and engage directly with employees (UK driving licence required). The successful Lead People Partner will have: Proven experience in a People Partner or HR leadership role, ideally within a startup, SME, or a fast-growing technical/software/engineering company. In-depth understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and people management in a high-growth environment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business. Experience leading and driving HR initiatives that support company growth, particularly in tech-focused or engineering environments. A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle complex situations with diplomacy and tact. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed to support multiple sites.
