Swan Solicitors are a firm specialising in civil litigation based in Central Manchester currently primarily dealing with road traffic accidents within the Official Injury Portal. We are a friendly and ambitious firm and are looking for individuals who will integrate well within our team as we grow.
We are excited to be in the process of expanding our operations and have a number of roles upcoming including a position in our First Response Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Helping our customers understand their options and legal rights to assist them in starting a claim to recover their financial losses and compensation for injuries sustained in a motor accident.
2. Inputting data within our case management software (Clio).
3. Assisting Solicitors/Paralegals in exceeding the firm’s targets and working in a pressured and fast-paced environment.
4. Contributing towards continuous improvement with generation of ideas to drive personal development and assisting the management team with the development of various entities within the firm.
5. Offering high level executive support to the Director and the management team.
6. Managing email accounts within the firm and handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.
7. Ensuring compliance with all procedural and regulatory legislation as required by SRA and GDPR.
8. Actively and positively promoting Swans Solicitors and being an excellent representative of the firm.
The role is varied and will require a certain calibre of individual as flexibility, work ethic, positive attitude, proactiveness and resourcefulness are all qualities that are imperative to succeed in this role.
Full training will be provided for any duties the successful candidate is expected to undertake.
We would expect fluency and competency within the Microsoft Office programmes and for any candidate to be computer literate.
This is a full-time role and we are currently trialling a 4-day work week subject to the firm’s needs, requirements and caseload. The hours will be 9:00 – 5:00, Monday to Thursday. The starting salary is £21,000.00. There will also be a firm performance bonus introduced in due course and various other benefits introduced as we grow. This is a casual dressed role in line with the environment we are currently situated in.
The role is in person at our office in Manchester based in the Northern Quarter.
