Transport Coordinator/Planner
Location: Nottingham

The purpose of this role is to provide great customer service, coordinate drivers and vehicles and be an integral part in the communication between a number of key customers and internal teams, to ensure excellent level of customer service.
This company is one of the leading providers of Environmental and Sustainability solutions to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. Primarily centred around Waste Management, they are expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK and Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure driver availability and coverage in line with legislation and company procedures to ensure that all areas are covered and along with vehicles for different collections.
2. Supervise vehicle availability daily ensuring that drivers have completed their checks in accordance with company policy.
3. Perform administrative duties including accurate input of disposal information, time sheets, tachograph records, holiday rotas, credit query logs and various KPI reports.
4. Liaison with fleet to ensure effective vehicle resources are available and ensuring safe vehicle operations.
5. Required to plan and mobilise resources according to customer needs, often to strict and demanding deadlines.
What We Are Looking For?
1. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.
2. Good geographical knowledge of mainland UK.
3. Customer service experience / experience of meeting customer expectations.
4. Transport experience is advantageous.
