Monarch Healthcare is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Ferndene Care Home. Ferndene is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Gainsborough, DN21. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and those living with dementia. We are looking for a Registered Nurse who would like to join our supportive and committed team, working together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.
Hours: We have 2 positions available. One position is for full-time days, temporary, due to maternity cover. We also accept applications for bank shifts. We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:
* The formulation of person-centred care plans – reviewing and updating care plans to reflect client needs, ensuring care plans are completed and maintained in consultation with clients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
* Administration of medication – administering prescribed medicines and documenting the same in accordance with the company’s procedures and NMC guidelines.
* Monitoring of resident well-being – reporting any ill health amongst clients and making requests for GP/professional visits where necessary.
* Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensuring a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant staff members at the end of each shift.
* Liaising with healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and hold a current pin. All roles are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
