Description A bit about the role As an experienced Payroll Officer, you will deliver precise, timely, and efficient payroll services for over 300 employees. You will collaborate with various business units and stakeholders, offering interpretation and information on entitlements and provisions within multiple awards and agreements. This position is permanent full-time based out of our Southport Head Office. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the Payroll function reports into the People and Culture team. A day in the life of a Payroll Officer includes the below : Managing full end-to-end payroll processing, including completing a fortnightly pay run. Generating payments for PAYG and Superannuation Guarantee contributions. Maintaining and updating employee records. Performing month-end tasks and reporting. Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and managers promptly and professionally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude. Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills. Intermediate Level on Microsoft Office Suite.
