Title Digital Electronics Engineer Salary range for this role is £40,000pa - £50,000pa depending on experience. Office location- Burton. The Programmes Business Unit in Frazer-Nash supports and delivers large frameworks and programmes that make a difference in the world. Our team within that provides nuclear control system design and verification services using FPGAs. We have an immediate requirement for Digital Electronic Engineers of all levels to specify, design, implement and verify solutions to some of the UK’s most complex engineering programmes. Recent graduates will have studied digital design as part of a relevant, accredited degree course (eg Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science). You will have a significant interest in digital hardware design. You will have an important role in a team delivering some of our largest programmes of work in support of our clients in the UK’s national infrastructure and national security. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, often alongside the client. You will deliver tasks to time, cost and quality expectations and you will assist to develop future business. The Qualified Applicant Will Meet The Following Minimum Requirements You will have a good degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other related discipline. An appreciation digital hardware electronics. An appreciation of electronic design. It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements: Experience with VHDL. Experience with Questa Sim or ModelSim. An appreciation of, or experience in, safety critical systems.
