We are currently recruiting for a part-time, fixed-term position of a Pharmacy Dispenser at our site in Lister Hospital, Stevenage. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in expanding their skills and knowledge in an outpatient hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in working within a community pharmacy dispensary based setting.
20 hours per week
Are you an NVQ Level 2 qualified dispenser? Is the qualification from a nationally recognised provider such as the NPA or Buttercups, looking to progress your career and gain an NVQ3 qualification as a registered Pharmacy Technician?
Medicines Counter assistant (MCA) trained individual.
You will work closely with a highly motivated Pharmacy team, further developing and delivering an efficient, convenient, and accessible pharmacy service to meet the needs of our patients.
Your day-to-day duties will involve:
* Support the dispensary team in actively promoting efficient pharmacy operations and services.
Full training will be provided on induction. As a minimum requirement, you will have completed the dispenser (NVQ2) course or equivalent.
