About the role The Digital training lead (E-Learning Content Creator) is a critical member of our Business Services team, a team whose main purpose is helping our customers and colleagues to get the best out of our products and services. In this role you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering digital training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our customers and employees. Your understanding of our product, customer behaviour and learning styles will re-shape the way that we deliver our training. This role will work from our Swinton office on a hybrid basis - 3 days office/2 days working remotely. Key responsibilities in the role will include: Digital learning development and oversight: Create and manage the framework for digital learning, ensuring consistent application/development across business functions thereby ensuring internal and external customers receive a consistent and high-quality experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope, and deliverables for the knowledgebase. Ensure all customer-facing content is well structured, accurate, consistent, clear, concise, complete, relevant, and meets company branding standards and guidelines. Ensure adherence to best practices, learning standards, and quality assurance processes. Create and update technical documents and statements of work, when necessary. Work with our Learning team, product, marketing and business leads and continuous improvement/data insights colleagues to monitor the effectiveness of the content and to drive increased uptake on learning. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and growth. Understand the impact of new content requirements on existing content, propose changes, and take action as appropriate. Seek review, feedback and signoff for content, and take action as appropriate. Manage content of assigned deliverables as required, including structuring, updating, archiving and retiring content. Co-ordinate the production and delivery of multiple content items from various colleagues to provide an overall content package on time to the customer base for events such as product software releases. Maintain appropriate document version control inside and outside of the team. Continuous improvement : Attend meetings to discuss evolving environment and technological advances surrounding the current LMS landscape. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Lead projects to enhance or expand the learning library based on feedback and review findings. Work with the product, business readiness, marketing and delivery teams to identify opportunities to improve the capability of the LMS and bring more insights and intelligence to our customers over the technology and processes we deliver. Support the roll-out of new products as required by the business. Support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders in order to develop and influence solution direction as appropriate. Work continuously on a task until completion Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies, integrating them into training programs to enhance learning experiences. Skills & experience Proven experience in designing and implementing digital training, instructional design or related fields (including e-learning and blended learning approaches). Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements and tightly prioritise based on business need and overall impact. Proficiency in digital tools, platforms, and technologies. Understanding of digital trends and their impact on training and development Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience of using Moorepay products and services is an advantage Excellent English language editing and writing skills – able to differentiate errors from opinions on style, and articulate reasons for changes. Ability to develop and implement digital training strategies aligned with organisational goals Experience with online content authoring tools, Learning Management System (LMS), Rise 360, Merf, Cantasia beneficial Sufficient IT / technical knowledge and awareness to adapt to evolving requirements of creating, editing, delivering and managing customer-facing technical content at Moorepay. About you: Technically minded with an excellent understanding of delivering a great customer experience through the use of digital learning. Able to think logically, work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and a rapid learning capability. Supporting the business, the post holder must be able to work independently, balancing day to day support issues and supporting projects/initiatives, often working on more than one project/initiative at a time and be able to absorb new information quickly. Excellent listening and questioning skills combined with the ability to interact confidently with the customers (colleagues and external customers) to establish what the problem is and explain the solution. Highly analytical with great attention to detail. Flexibility, resilience and positive attitude to adapt priorities in the face of changing needs, especially when under pressure. Able to build meaningful, productive working relationships across various teams to ensure appropriate inputs to content and projects, even where those relationships are predominantly built online through our extensive use of Microsoft’s online collaboration toolsets.
