Sales Executive
A Peterborough based fire protection firm is looking for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join the team in a mixed office-based and field-based position.
This Sales Executive / Business Development Manager in the passive fire industry plays a critical role in driving growth and establishing valuable partnerships.
Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and projects that require Passive Fire & Fire Door solutions. Initiate contact and nurture leads.
2. Market Research and Analysis: Identify potential clients by analyzing demand, competition, and emerging opportunities.
3. Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical and operations teams to create compelling proposals tailored to clients' needs.
5. Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close deals and secure contracts for passive fire solutions.
6. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
7. Networking and Industry Events: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to connect with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments.
8. Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Requirements
1. Industry sales experience in the fire protection industry.
2. Proven track record in sales with exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
The Sales Executive / Business Development Manager role is 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday and involves a mix of office-based work and travel to prospective clients.
