Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor
Our client is currently recruiting for a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor to join their Alnwick office, where you will engage in diverse projects while providing exceptional customer service to private clients and enhancing the businesses' regional presence.
What will I be doing?
In this role, you'll provide rural professional advice on matters such as landlord-tenant relationships, valuations, diversification projects, eco-system services, and other emerging opportunities.
You'll work collaboratively within a growing team, help implement the Regional Business Plan, support our public profile through events, and develop strong client relationships to maintain a robust work pipeline.
Variety is the spice of life, and in this role you'll rarely find yourself doing the same thing day in-day out. But you'll know that already; it's the beauty of the rural sector.
You'll also be working in some of the most spectacular landscapes in the country, from the wilds of the Northumberland National Park and man-made beauty of Kielder to the instantly-recognisable backdrop of Bamburgh Castle on the coast. What's not to like!
What do I need?
Our client is looking for a candidate with 5 years plus of demonstrable experience in multidisciplinary rural land management. MRICS/FRICS accreditation is essential. Registered Valuer status would be advantageous. Experience of property acquisition, disposals and Landlord and Tenant matters is important, and environmental or forestry experience is a plus.
You'll also need strong interpersonal skills, a solid grasp of Microsoft Office, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure and effectively prioritise workload.
Who for?
Our client is a foremost provider of the full suite of rural land management and associated services in the North of England.
Their core sectors cover Estate Agency, Estate Management, Planning and Development, Environmental, Farm Business Advice and Dispute Resolution, with a client base extending from residential landlords to tenant and owner-operator farmers to vast sporting estates, and everything in-between.
You'll be joining a supportive environment, and will be entitled to benefits including a generous holiday allowance, health insurance, an electric car scheme, and various well-being activities. They value community engagement through company charity events and maintain a culture of appreciation.
