Our IT Apprenticeship Over two years, you’ll follow an apprentice programme that will lead you to achieving at least an SCQF Level 8 in IT. What you’ll do: Provide first-line IT support as part of the Service Delivery team, managing incidents and resolving tickets within predefined service level agreements. Rotate through core IT functions, including infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, end-user computing, and collaboration tools. Gain experience across core IT functions, including infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, end-user computing, and collaboration tools. Contribute to the design and implementation of IT systems, building skills in areas like databases, core infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Build relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service and clear communication to resolve technical issues. Learn and apply IT processes and procedures under the guidance of qualified technical professionals. Location: You’ll be based at our central Glasgow location (G2 7BW) and will complete remote training through our training provider, QA, offering a balanced mix of hands-on experience and academic learning. What we’re looking for: Qualifications: A minimum of three Highers (BBC) or equivalent, including English, Maths, and one STEM subject (IT preferred but not essential). Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Reliable, committed, and self-motivated, with good time management and multitasking abilities.
