As a Junior Estates Officer at the Royal United Hospitals Bath, you will work closely with the Estates Officers ensuring that our trade staff carry out planned and reactive activity in a timely manner, meeting both high-performance standards and compliance requirements. You will also assist in managing contractors engaged in estates related tasks. Your expertise will be essential in managing backlog maintenance, planned maintenance programmes, and asset registers. Additionally, you will play a key role in inspecting planned and reactive maintenance works to continuously improve standards of work and meet the service level agreement targets, whilst building strong working relationships within the organisation. This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and leadership behaviours to progress onto a Estates Officer role in the future. Main duties of the job This role involves providing local support for operational services, focusing on monitoring statutory compliance, ensuring safe work practices, and facilitating minor capital works. The officer will also assist in managing contractors engaged in estates related tasks.
