Job Description
If you have General Practitioner qualifications, we have an opportunity for you in Australia!
Come work down under where the weather is amazing, practices encourage a healthy work-life balance, and your weekends can be filled with adventures!
About Ausdocs Group
We own and manage General Practice clinics in Australia, where a number are located within key Distribution Priority Areas (DPA settings). Our internal recruitment team have expertise in the specialist pathway options available to overseas medical practitioners. This allows us to successfully relocate and support a General Practitioner from the UK, down to Australia.
What you’ll need to succeed
All overseas-trained General Practitioners need to be locally assessed for comparability to that of Australian-trained Specialist GPs. The most successful avenue is to meet the requirements as defined by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
For those transitioning from the UK, this means if you're currently a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), we can get an eligible assessment for you to transition to Australia - these qualifications are already pre-approved!
To be considered you will need the following:
* Keen interest and commitment in relocating to Australia.
* Australian Medical Council (AMC) verification of qualifications.
* Comprehensive CV that lists all clinical experience from graduation to current.
* Specialist general practice / family physician certificate or qualifications.
* Evidence of current medical registration since obtaining your specialist qualifications.
What we can offer you
Besides the pristine beaches; great family lifestyle; amazing earning potential; spacious towns, cities and houses; we have medical practices across the country offering:
* Flexible working hours.
* Competitive billings (gross AUD35,000 - 60,000 / GBP18,000 - 30,000 a month working 4-5 days a week).
* Support to follow your own clinical interest areas.
* Modern facilities and clinics with well-stocked consumables.
* Experienced support staff (practice manager, receptionists, nurses and allied health).
Additionally, should you be deemed successful by the team in meeting the above requirements, making you eligible to relocate to Australia as a Specialist GP with Ausdocs Group, we will assist with:
* The comparability assessment that would need to be lodged to RACGP.
* Further information on working in Australia (to determine where you’d most like to live).
* Working with our practices to secure you a location to work from.
* Relocation support in moving to Australia (either on your own or with your whole family).
