Carbon 60 is looking to recruit an Estates Maintenance Manager for its Public Sector client based in Southampton.
Pay rate: £23.03-£25.13ph
Working hours: 7.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.15pm on Friday.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need access to your own transport.
Your role will be to support the development and delivery of a high-quality maintenance service, both planned and responsive, that will enable my client to meet its business objectives and the needs of all users and stakeholders. This will include the management of multi-trade teams, overseeing day-to-day repair and maintenance processes.
Requirements:
1. HNC/NVQ3 or equivalent with, or working towards, IOSH level 3 or significant experience in construction or property management.
2. The ability to follow my client's policies and procedures.
3. A good commercial background with experience in customer-based services and a working knowledge of social housing.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of legislative frameworks.
5. A good understanding of H&S issues.
6. Computer literate.
7. The ability to assist in the revision and development of policies, work programmes, and business plans.
8. To take accountability for your actions and hold others to account.
9. Excellent communication skills, both oral and verbal.
10. Confident and effective decision maker.
11. Ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
