Description

The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of motor claims from inception to settlement pre-litigation.
Key Accountabilities
1. Pro-actively manage a caseload of motor claims, including personal injury (OIC and MOJ) and credit hire.
2. Maintain accurate data on the relevant case management system.
3. Comply with set client SLA’s.
4. Ensure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard.
5. Allocate new claims and set strategies.
6. Carry out supervisory tasks appropriate to level.
7. Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.
8. Undertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the Team Leader.
9. Participate in client review meetings and assist with client project work where applicable.
10. Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Liverpool Office, this is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. Minimum 5 years claims handling experience.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
4. Strong organisational skills.
5. Supervisory experience is desirable.
6. The ability to manage own volume workload via task management.
7. The ability to work as a team and independently.
8. Strong client relationship skills.
