We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and competent Accounts Semi-Senior, who has the ability to plan and organise methodically for our busy Practice. The role of Accounts Semi-Senior will involve preparing accounts with the information provided by the client to a standard set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, at a level ready for review by a Senior or Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Preparing financial statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies from computerised or manual records.
* Preparing reconciliations for all balance sheets.
* Preparing corporation tax computations and income tax computations.
* Assisting team members both on-site and in the office.
* Occasional use of alternative computerised systems such as Sage.
* Dealing with client queries over the telephone or face to face.
* Attend accounts meetings as required.
The successful candidate will have recent experience of working in a professional accountancy practice, be AAT qualified or working towards ACCA, and have strong IT skills. Experience of CCH would be highly desirable.
