We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Care Coordinator to join our friendly and fast-paced team at our North West Kent office covering Dartford, Bexley, Erith, Sidcup, Swanley, Longfield, Gravesend and nearby areas.
Duties Include (But not be restricted to):
* Use IT systems to allocate Caregivers to provide care and support to Clients by appropriately matching needs based on Caregivers skills, experience and travel arrangements and the service needs and preferences.
* Liaise with the Registered Manager to make sure that sufficient staff with the right skills mix are available to meet the needs of the business. Arrange cover for Caregiver sickness, absenteeism or holidays.
* Liaise with the Registered Manager to make sure there is sufficient cover to deliver all of the care and support plans on time.
* Conduct interviews to recruit new caregivers and support the onboarding process. Provide ongoing communication and support to both caregivers and clients.
* Respond efficiently to day to day changes in care and support needs.
* Carry out general office duties. Prepare reports as required by the Registered Manager.
* Conduct routine spot checks, supervisions, and audits to maintain high service levels and compliance.
* Carry out care calls as and when necessary to meet the needs of the business and support with the out of hours on-call service.
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Relevant experience in a supervisory and advisory role.
* An understanding of the Care Act, CQC’s Essential Standards and other relevant standards.
* An understanding of the uniqueness of providing a tailored home care service.
* An understanding of health and safety and data protection requirements and legislation.
* A positive, proactive attitude, ready to collaborate and contribute to a carer-centric environment.
* QCF Diploma Level 3.
Hours:
Full Time (Hours of work between Monday - Friday). Extra flexibility is required for evening and weekend work.
Salary:
Between £25K- £27K (Dependent on experience).
Experience:
Care: 1 year (preferred). Care Coordination: 1 year (preferred).
Licence/Certification:
Full UK Driving Licence (required).
