Full-time, permanent role
Salary: £40K - £47K depending on experience, either band 6 or band 7 level
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Part-time hours also available
Location: Romford
About the role:
Working across 2 - 3 specialist schools in the local area, taking care of managing your caseload which will include a range of communication needs, autism, early intervention and learning disabilities for children aged 0 - 16 years.

Your main responsibilities as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist:
* Deliver dynamic and engaging speech and language therapy interventions to pupils with SLCN.
* Assess children’s speech and language needs and produce reports to share with parents and school teams.
* Deliver training to parents and members of school staff on a range of topics (Supported by a band 7 therapist where needed)
* Liaise closely with teachers and teaching assistants in curriculum planning, target setting and the development of resources.
* Provide advice, support and modelling for parents, carers and other family members, and to respond to their needs in the context of the individual child as well as based on a wider knowledge of language development and difficulties.
What we are looking for in a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist:
* The legal right to work in the UK
* HCPC registration
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
* Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and evidence of continuing professional development
* Experience working with non-verbal and verbal ASD children
* Must be HCPC and RCSLT registered or in process
