Project Manager – Rail Property

£400 per day
3 month contract (potential to extend)
Our client requires a Project Manager, with rail property experience, to join their team working on a number of station enhancement projects. The role will be key to delivering high quality outputs and requires an experienced property Project Manager with experience within the rail industry.
The successful Project Manager could be working on a number of different projects including lighting replacements, cycle hub refurbishments, forecourt pedestrianisation, station rebuilds, and canopy works.
You will work across a number of projects of varying values, working closely with all stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Rail property experience as a Project Manager.
2. Project Management Qualification (E.g. Prince / etc).
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with project stakeholders including facilitation of workshops.
4. Project Management experience of medium complexity projects throughout the project lifecycle in a rail environment, ideally Stations.
5. TOC & NR experienced PM
6. Experience of TOC governance, consent and NR engineering assurance process experience.
7. Experience of working collaboratively and as part of a Programme team to ensure all projects in the programme are delivered safely, on time, within scope and to budget.
8. Ability to use Microsoft 365 including experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Microsoft Teams and Project Management Systems & Planning Tools.
9. Proven ability to build and influence relationships within the business and senior stakeholders up to c-suite level internal and external to achieve the required results.
10. Experience of managing and presenting accurate reports and documentation in line with governance requirements.
11. Experience of contractual management in project delivery.
12. Experience of managing project budgets including interpretation of reporting & accurate forecasting.
