Role Purpose Oversees assigned production areas to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. Manage workflow, personnel, and resources to produce and ship quality products that meet customer specifications. Maintain facility integrity, drive performance improvements, and foster a culture focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, aligning with company values and business objectives. Leadership Lead and direct assigned production personnel, including Operators, and Helpers Core Accountabilities Champion Safety First initiatives and compliance with all safety policies/procedures, driving safety improvement projects and supporting safety certification efforts. Ensure the adherence to safety regulations, safeguarding compliance, and fostering a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and efficiency. Utilize Continuous Improvement initiatives to identify and resolve production challenges, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality. Drive Business Excellence initiatives in the form of automation and strategic projects as assigned. Mentor and develop team members, promoting traits of hunger, humility, and smart decision-making. Hire, cross-train, coach, and schedule personnel to meet production demands, motivating teams to meet and exceed goals. Oversee daily production, ensuring efficient processes, on-time delivery, and alignment with business objectives while minimizing costs. Maintain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure high productivity and equipment reliability, coordinating with Maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance and repairs. Coordinate closely with various teams (Sales, Quality, Purchasing) to meet customer demands, communicate order fulfillment, resolve quality issues, and ensure product quality. Perform additional production tasks as assigned, supporting overall operational and business goals.
