RTLB practice leader, Te Paeroa, Cluster 34
Are you passionate about leading evidence-based practice and fostering culturally sustaining practices? Do you want to make a difference by guiding and coaching RTLB (resource teachers: learning and behaviour) to deliver high-quality practice?
We are looking for two exceptional leaders for our cluster. They will demonstrate effective communication skills, be highly reflective practitioners and keep up-to-date with current practices, government priorities and initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership, guidance, and support to our RTLB professionals, working closely alongside the cluster manager.
Te Paeroa value; whanaungatanga, rangatiratanga, manaakitanga and kotahitanga. Our team is exceptionally collaborative, and committed to strengthening and empowering kaiako to enhance educational outcomes for our mokopuna.
What we’re looking for:
* Commitment to culturally responsive practices and the principles of the four articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
* An RTLB who has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in specialist teaching-endorsed learning and behaviour.
* A practitioner with proven leadership skills in mentoring, coaching, and professional supervision and remains confidential at all times.
* Highly reflective of their own professional behaviour and practice, with an understanding of how this impacts others.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative community of practice.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain effective, professional, and trusting partnerships within the RTLB team, across our cluster schools and with our collaborative agencies.
Why join us? Te Paeroa is an excellent opportunity to lead, inspire, and learn! If you’re ready to make a positive impact on mokopuna outcomes across our Ōtautahi cluster, we’d love to hear from you!
