Infrastructure Sales Specialist - Aviation & Rail
Purpose
The role is key to ensuring proactiveness and efficiency in KONE Infrastructure sales, asset management planning/tendering. As part of KONE’s London & Southeast team you will be responsible for prospecting, lead handling and sales support activities especially in the pre-sales phase of sales cycle.
Key Experiences & Skills
Sales support, manage pricing and tender offering
1. Supports Infrastructure Sales Plans (ISPs) Aviation & Rail (lifts & escalators)
2. Drives and owns tender submissions ensuring customers’ requirements have been heard and incorporated.
3. Utilizes Tendering tools and CRM, to collate documentation.
4. Collaborates with sales personnel to ensure accurate customer data and hierarchies with internal management systems (SAP & CRM).
5. Proactively monitors leads and new opportunities within CRM, ensuring works are assigned to the correct owners.
6. Coordinates the customer’s approval of designs and lay-out drawings.
7. Maintains tendering tools and master templates as instructed by sales manager / product manager.
8. Responsible for collating reports and summaries for sales, marketing, installation, delivery, finance managers etc.
Customer relationship coordination
9. Supports KONE’s position and customer base in the aviation/rail market.
10. Supports development of customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
11. Coordinates/supports and follows up customer plans for strategic delivery.
12. Promotes and demonstrates the value of KONE digital offering.
Manage Sales Funnel
13. Owns and manages CRM data quality of contacts, customers, influencers, opportunity management, and won and lost reporting.
14. Collaborates with the sales and operational teams to drive results through orders, contracts, and market price development.
15. Identifies key areas for business growth within the airports/rail environments, through customer relations and data analysis.
16. Supports sales result for the infrastructure business on short and long term.
17. Owns the Coordination and submission of tenders.
18. Utilizes global processes and tools for local benefit.
People
19. Collaborates with Internal team(s) (Operations mangers/technical & performance specialists) to build customer relations.
20. Clearly communicates the value of KONE solutions to customers in line with their own performance goals.
21. Engages with the team members to achieve better results through sharing of best practices.
22. Coordinates adequate resources to achieve the short- and long-term targets (tender ownership)
Key Skills & Experiences
23. Background in Infrastructure is beneficial but not essential.
24. Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service.
25. Advanced office-tools literacy.
26. Contractual and financial understanding.
27. Customer service mindset - desire to understand what creates value to our customers and courage to experiment in innovate thinking.
28. Good administrative skills.
29. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
30. Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).
31. Handling customer questions & inquiries.
32. Attention to detail.
33. Knowledge in Salesforce & Asite is beneficial.
