You will be working to support the delivery of specialist nursing for people with multiple sclerosis, providing a comprehensive assessment and expert advice on the management of their condition. You will work closely with your multidisciplinary colleagues and have regular support and guidance from specialist nurses within the team. The post involves working at a variety of bases within the local area. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide expert advice in the management of patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). They will perform comprehensive assessment of patient needs, plan implement and evaluate care delivery according to changing healthcare needs ensuring that high quality patient centered care is delivered. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other agencies to ensure patient's needs are met. Assist the specialist nurse in review and monitoring of treatment therapies. Undertake nurse led clinics.
