Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in the trading domain and FIX protocol to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of trading systems, and expertise in the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
* Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
* Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and stability.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in the trading domain.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience for more than 6+ years as a Python Developer in the trading domain.
* Experience with trading systems, market data, and order management systems.
* Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks/libraries.
* Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with other programming languages such as Java.
* Knowledge of the FIX protocol and its implementation.
* Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
* Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
