The EMEA Payroll Supervisor, will be a part of the Global Finance Shared Services organization.
Is responsible for processing the End-to-End payroll for EMEA countries, with utmost confidentiality of employee records and business information of our EMEA Payroll Finance Shared Services organization. The position will also play a key role in expansion initiatives including managing the implementation of 3rd party vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries.
You will also be a key contributor to our overall transformation on improving our current payroll processes.
The priority for this role will be providing a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders and contributing to the long-term development of the payroll function.
To be successful, you will need to ensure timeliness and accurate processing of payroll inputs, work closely with the 3rd party payroll provider, communicate effectively, identify and drive continuous performance improvements projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity and / or employee satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
* Participate in ongoing internal process improvements.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of the Company’s payroll in EMEA countries.
* Payroll issues are escalated and resolved with root cause analysis and corrective action for all levels of employees and management, with a focus on ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience in partnership with HR Shared Services. Responsible for day-to-day oversight for issues and positive seamless
* Oversee the timely preparation, processing, maintenance and appropriate distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year end reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions
* Establish partnerships with third party vendors to ensure effective service delivery
* Be a backup for the payroll team (end to finish payroll process)
* Ensure payroll services are processed in accordance with established global policies and procedures along with all legislative compliance requirements (including tax and labor laws)
* Directs and audits payroll procedures to include earnings, garnishments, tax withholding, and absence processing and ensure compliance with organizational procedures
* Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Benefits teams to identify, resolve, and avoid payroll compliance issues
* Identify and drive continuous performance improvement projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity and / or employee satisfaction within EMEA
* Ensure end-to-end processes are well-thought through to address customer and regulatory requirements
* Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for department
* Support payroll manager with team’s development to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent
* Manage projects across multi-disciplinary functions of Payroll within allotted timeframes and budgets
* Maintains confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information and any proprietary information and ensures payroll information is secure
What You Bring:
* 7 -10 years of relevant experience in payroll in a diverse, complex global enterprise, 2-3 years strong leadership in managing a small team (1-3 direct reports)
* Experience in working with a third-party payroll services provider, such as ADP Celergo & ADP Global View, ADP E-Time, Kelio.
* Experience in managing third-party payroll services providers
* Experience working in systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience in payroll system implementation – data validation and data analysis, implementation of Payroll Internal Controls and Procedures
* Knowledge and experience with stock, travel and time and attendance programs
