We're looking for enthusiastic and energetic supervisors and managers to support our management team in the day to day running of our pub. As we focus on beer, wine, gin and whisky a fondness for these is definitely a plus!
We focus on selling some of the best beers from the UK & Europe alongside a great range of Gin, Whisky & Spirits and a wine list focussing on a great range from classic styles through to natural wines. All of this comes with a great food offering with Hot Dogs, Cheese & Charcuterie and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
As part of your role you'll get to taste and experience amazing Beers, Gins & Whiskies and we also offer various industry training programmes, such as Cicerone qualifications, trips, brewery/distillery visits and brewdays, supplier visits and much more including First Aid & Health & Safety courses, management apprenticeships and more.*

Basics of the role will include, but not limited to:
Everything we expect of our bartenders plus occasional food service and handling of meats, cheeses and other items on our menu; supporting your team in their day to day roles & helping to develop the team around you. There will also be aspects of maintaining health & safety/fire/food safety standards in line with our legal requirements; cellar management; in-house events; staff training and motivation; drinking tasty drinks, eating tasty food and being passionate about it in the process! You will need to be comfortable running a busy bar, serving drinks & food whilst managing a small team, dealing with customer enquiries, feeding back to upper management and helping to run the day to day business. The role will include elements of heavy lifting at times (kegs/casks and general day to day of running a bar and taking in deliveries/stocking up etc) and it is most definitely an active job with plenty of time on your feet as you'd expect!
This role would best suit anyone with previous experience in a similar role, or experience at manager/supervisor level in a different industry but with a love for what we do. We are also keen to hear from anyone with industry experience who is looking to make the next step up in their career. Good leadership skills, the ability to lead a team and deliver fantastic customer service are essential. Final wage/salary dependant on experience and skillset.
We have roles starting this September/October, with flexibility on start dates.
