Customer Service Export Co-Ordinator
Location: Cheltenham, UK (On-site)

Role Overview:
The Customer Service Export Coordinator will prepare and process paperwork for international shipments, including despatch notes, commercial invoices and other documents required to facilitate timely and accurate despatch of customer shipments.
The successful candidate will work with other departments to ensure timely despatch of orders and supporting clearance of import and of returned goods, and preparation/submission of all compliance returns.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
* Working in line with Company processes and in accordance with current legislation
* Maintaining direct links to Finance for Intrastat and VAT reporting, and ensuring that the business confirms to HMRC rules for the exporting of goods
* Collaborating with other departments to facilitate any specific requirements for exporting goods to new markets
* Liaising with Operating Companies with regards to the despatch of regular frequency shipments as well as 3rd party shipments direct to customers
* Preparing shipping and customs documentation in compliance with legal obligations and ensuring completion and correct prior to despatch
* Checking customs documentation for correct export declarations and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
* Responding to queries from both internal and external customers regarding shipments, orders and compliance
Your previous experience is likely to include…
* Preparation of compliant shipping paperwork
* Working within a busy environment
* Working knowledge of export procedures and documentation
* Awareness of Incoterms and trade terms
* Familiarity with local software
* Basic working knowledge of VAT rules for export of goods
