Role Overview:
The company is currently seeking an Acoustic Consultant or Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a variety of projects, liaising with clients, mentoring junior staff, and occasionally travelling to sites, primarily in and around London. Some travel to further locations may be required. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in both environmental and building acoustics. Candidates should have strong engineering knowledge as well as experience in consultancy, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver a variety of noise and vibration projects
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
* Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting their professional development
* Conduct site visits primarily in London, with occasional visits to more distant locations
* Prepare technical reports and documentation related to noise control and acoustics
* Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
* A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
* Experience in noise and vibration consultancy, ideally with a focus on both environmental and building acoustics
* Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles related to acoustics
* Excellent project management and client liaison skills
* Experience in mentoring or managing junior staff is desirable
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites
