Reporting into the newly appointed Director, IT and Enterprise based in the USA, and line managing a global team of 7, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Technology Delivery Strategy across the Group (500 employees at circa 7 locations plus homeworkers). You will be required to provide technical guidance and hands-on support to all teams across the Air Partner enterprise applications and all cloud and infrastructure environments and also take responsibility for implementing projects related to all end-user services (excluding business applications) across the Air Partner and collaborate with the WheelsUp Team to deliver group-based services to the Air Partner.
Please note that this position will be Gatwick based but you will also need to travel to our other UK offices (London, Bracknell, and Doncaster) and may also occasionally need to travel to our US, European, and Asian offices. The successful candidate will also need to pass a 5-year counter-terrorism check before they start with us.
You will:
* Support to develop and implement the Technology Delivery Strategy across Air Partner and its entities in collaboration with the IT Director
* Provide leadership and management to the Technology Delivery Team (Cloud, Infrastructure & Service Desk Team)
* Implement performance improvements to ensure a consistently high level of service
* Proactively identify and lead on initiatives to continually improve Technology Delivery across the Group
* Deliver, maintain, and secure both cloud Azure and on-premise infrastructure
* Develop KPIs and metrics, analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements
* Assist on Group Cybersecurity work streams ensuring that they are aligned with the Air Partner requirements
* Maintain Incident Management systems, processes, policies, and governance
* Manage Technology Vendors in line with WheelsUp Group Vendor policies/procedures
* Create and manage a Service Catalogue
* Develop a culture of continual service improvement through supporting frameworks and resources
* Manage the Air Partner Technology Team Budget in coordination with the Head of Business Applications
What we are looking for:
Essential
Extensive experience with:
* Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Server 2016, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe C-Suite
Exposure to following:
* Dynamics 365, Microsoft Navision 2016 / Business Central, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Meraki Networking, Cyber Security, AI, SD-WAN, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Anti-Virus, Microsoft Teams Calling, and Microsoft Security products, NetSuite Financial Suite
Also:
* 5 years minimum relevant work experience as a service delivery Manager
* Experience adding/maintaining users in Office365 and setting up Email etc
* Experience in DMARC and SPF
* Experience with Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager
* Experience managing machines in Azure, not just AWS
* Experience of Cisco networking (including Meraki)
* Experience managing multiple suppliers/vendors
* An ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
* Experience with and the ability to manage an IT operation, preferably with experience working with and managing remote overseas offices
* Exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development
* An excellent understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards
* Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
* A proven track record of applying IT solutions to solve business challenges
* Excellent leadership skills and an ability to delegate work accordingly
* Experience managing relationships with key suppliers and partners
* Strong knowledge of business and IT governance principles, and how they interact with Technology services
* Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* An ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
* A passion for technology and the unlimited opportunities it can bring to staff
* Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
* An ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products
* An extremely hands-on, highly self-motivated and self-directed individual with excellent attention to detail
* An ability to make decisions based on the interpretation and application of service management standards and frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
Desirable:
* Professional Qualifications in Microsoft, ITIL v3 or v4, Azure Security Related
* Experience in Autopilot to enroll new devices
* Experience of managing a companies' Android and/or Apple phones
* Experience in Email Filtering, Vulnerability Management, and/or Automated Patching
* Certification in any of the following:
Office365 Fundamentals
Azure Fundamentals
CISM (Certified Information Security Management)
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
ITIL v3 or v4
Any other Microsoft certification
* A good understanding of service management, the underlying principles, and relevant frameworks
* Experience of direct line management across several worldwide locations
* Academic qualifications in computer science or information systems
* A good understanding of cybersecurity, the underlying principles, and relevant frameworks
