Deputy Manager - Residential- Dementia Location: Evesham Salary: £15.25 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - 48 hours a week Are you an experienced deputy manager with a passion for dementia and elderly care? We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Care Manager to join our team and support the home manager in the overall running of our residential home. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the management and supervision of care staff, ensuring high-quality care is provided at all times. • Support with recruitment, training, and development of staff. • Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations and company policies. • Lead by example, fostering a positive, inclusive, and compassionate working environment. • Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding responsibilities. • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals. • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required. • Monitor medication administration practices to ensure safety and adherence to protocols. • Participate in on-call duties. Requirements: • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it). • Previous experience in a senior care role, ideally within a residential care setting. • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • A good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance. • A caring, empathetic, and professional approach to supporting residents and staff.
