Job summary A new rotational development has arisen within South Cumbria for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist (OT), which aims to support your preceptorship journey and also your continuous professional development opportunities across both the inpatient and community settings. Main duties of the job At Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, we are developing our Allied Health Professional (AHP) community within the Bay Network, to ensure that we are offering positions that facilitate longevity within your chosen career pathway. If you are an OT, who would like to expand your experience within different adult mental health settings, we currently have a vacancy for two full time positions. This rotation will offer a plethora of opportunities for professional development, with a robust training platform offering mandatory training opportunities, a trust-wide preceptorship and peer support from a developing AHP community through evidence-based practice forums, we have this new opportunity available. The rotational post currently offers the opportunity to work across 2 clinical areas across a 12 month period: - Dova, Mental Health inpatient ward, Dane Garth- Furness, Community Mental Health Team About us Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
