Head of Humanities | Commencing September 2025
Salary: Competitive
Set in beautiful grounds in the Kent countryside with first-class facilities, we are a thriving, well-resourced day, and flexible boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 to 16.
We are seeking an exceptional teacher with a proven track record of excellent value added in either History, Geography or Religious Studies GCSE. You will have full responsibility for overseeing the Humanities curriculum in the Senior School ensuring it meets educational standards, as well as line managing the Heads of each of the Humanities departments as above.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking teacher to take the next step in their career and may suit either someone seeking to take on a Head of Department role for the first time or a current Head of a single Humanities department, who would like to widen their skill set by leading the wider Humanities group.
If you are someone who is passionate about teaching and learning, student achievement and aspirations, able to inspire and get the best out of students and someone who will show commitment to the school’s vision and ethos, this may be the role for you.
If you would like to be considered for this role, please complete and submit an application form which can be found on our website along with further details about the post: Application Form.
