South Cliff Dental Group is looking for a committed member of staff to join their Dental nursing team. We are a rapidly growing organisation always looking to support and nurture staff, with progression opportunities available based on capability, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Provide high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist in all procedures, in a safe and effective manner.
2. Follow practice policies and procedures.
3. Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC.
4. Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines.
5. Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team.
6. Assist with the supervision of trainee dental nurses in the practice.
7. Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required.
Key Tasks
1. Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including the equipment.
2. Keep full, accurate, and contemporaneous patient records and ensure that they are stored securely.
3. Process dental radiographs.
4. Monitor, support, and reassure patients.
5. Support the patient and your colleagues if there is an emergency.
Requirements
1. Adv DBS clearance (provided by the company).
2. Proof of right to work in the UK (if not a UK citizen).
3. Two professional references will be required.
4. Photo ID / Proof of residence x 2.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly pay: £13-£13.50++ depending on experience.
Part-time schedule:
* Monday 9:45-19:15
* Tuesday 8:45-18:15
* Thursday 7:45-17:15
