We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry.
We are seeking an experienced Project Programme Manager to manage the planning, coordination, delivery and implementation of four strategic projects.
This standalone, hands-on role requires working strategically and in detail at various stages of project lifecycles. The successful candidate will ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, whilst managing risks and identifying key mitigations.

Responsibilities:
* Work alongside business stakeholders to produce high quality analysis supporting business cases, project specifications and deliverables.
* Prepare detailed project plans, revise and update as appropriate to reflect clear delivery timescales, changing needs and requirements.
* Communicate project status to all levels of the organisation on a regular basis, utilising digital project management tools.
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Responsible for projects benefit definition and management, ensuring that these are owned by the relevant business stakeholder, monitored, and delivered.
* Resolve and/ or escalate issues in a timely fashion to avoid issues de-railing the project.
* Drive the creation of key deliverables which enable and support adoption and embedding such as training/ knowledge transfer, the documentation/ update of business processes and the clarity of which teams and individuals are responsible, accountable, consulted and informed (RACI).
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope to keep within agreed thresholds.
Requirements
* Significant experience in a similar role, managing complex projects across multiple geographical locations.
* Recognised project / programme management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Lean, Scrum, Agile).
* Experience of utilising and developing digital tools for Project Management.
* Experienced in projects involving multiple business areas that involve a significant element of business change.
* Demonstrable experience of operating agile project methodologies in different business environments.
* Previous experience of designing and implementing project management practices having set up a project management office from scratch.
* Previous experience of operating change management practices
* Experience of operating in high-growth, fast-paced business environments.
* Confident with communicating and collaborating across all levels of seniority to internal and external stakeholders.
* Possess the resilience to work in an environment that demands continuous high performance.
* Be prepared to travel globally and potentially during unsociable hours.

* A competitive salary of £70,000 - £100,000 dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.
* Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 12:00 (flexibility)
